Before you purchase any pricing option at Papayaya Fitness please click “more info” to read the details. Please only then continue to your purchase. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully!

All bookings and cancellations should be done online. Please log into your account through the website from your computer or the app PT MINDER via your phone.


To avoid disappointment please book any class you wish to attend at least 6 hours before the planned start time. If there are no bookings for a class at 6 hours prior to class starting I reserve the right to cancel the class.  

You are always welcome to drop into a calls spontaneously without booking, but you run the risk of the session not taking place due to a lack of bookings, in which case I may have cancelled the class. Booking into a cancelled class is not possible.

In the event of severe adverse weather I will cancel outdoor classes. All booked-in participants will be notified via email. The pre-booked class will be returned to your package i.e. you are not charged for classes which I cancel.

If you are unable to attend the class you must cancel it at least 6 hours prior to its scheduled start time to avoid the class being taken from your package/being changed for this class. 


All booking, cancelling and rescheduling should be done online. Simply log into your account, go to the Calendar and click “book session” in the available time slots. 

All personal training sessions must be booked online at least 6 hours in advance. In case you need to cancel a session you have already booked, this must be done 24 hours prior to the planned start time in order to avoid being charged for this session. If cancellations occur less than 24 hours before the session start time I reserve the right to charge for the session. Please arrange bookings, cancellations via the online portal.  

Please note you are limited to cancelling/rescheduling no more that 2 sessions per week. 

The membership packages allow booking into 1 or 2 weekday personal training sessions per week (Monday to Friday). 

In addition you may use your membership credits towards Peak Time slots (run on certain Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays), but these will be charged at an additional CHF 20 per session to be paid in cash on arrival.

The session may be cancelled at short notice in case of severe weather conditions. The session will be returned to client’s package and rescheduled upon agreement.


The classes take place at different outdoor locations in Basel. Please make sure you check the location carefully before booking into a class.

Personal training sessions will take place at previously agreed outdoor locations in Basel or at the client’s home.


    Both personal training sessions and classes are accessible on a one-off payment, packages or monthly membership basis. 

The membership fees are charged monthly on a rollover basis until cancelled.

If you wish to cancel your membership you must let me know via email or in writing at least 30 days in advance to avoid being charged the fees for another month.

Membership fees are paid on a monthly basis and offer a discount price for personal training sessions and classes. No refunds are available for unused classes and sessions, but classes can be carried forward for a further 4 weeks (see below).

 Depending on membership status you are permitted to attend 1, 2 or 3 classes of your choice and/or 1-2 personal training sessions a week.

Any unused classes and sessions will be carried over to the next month and you can use them depending on availability of the trainer. Any carried over sessions and classes will expire after a 4 week grace period.

All individual sessions and packages have got an “expiry date”. If in any case the purchased personal training package/ classes package will not be used up prior to the “expiry date”, all the remaining sessions will be forfeited.

Occasionally, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday personal training time slots will be made available. These are Peak Time training slots charged a premium rate. The Peak Time slots will be available to membership holders, at an additional charge of CHF 20 per session.

Papayaya Fitness reserves the right to increase your fees at any time. 

I will make a reasonable effort to tell you about this at least 30 days in advance in writing. 

If membership fees are increased and reasonable efforts have been made to provide prior notice, you hereby authorise me to increase any direct debits to your credit card or bank account which you have authorised upon joining (or on a separate date – whichever the most current) accordingly.


You promise on the date of the purchase, and repeat such promise each time you come to the training, that you are in good physical condition and that you know of no medical or other reason why you are not capable of engaging in active or passive exercise and that such exercise would not be detrimental to your health, safety, comfort or physical condition. 

Iwona Schopflin is not medically trained and is therefore not qualified to assess whether you are in good physical condition or that you can engage in active or passive exercise without detriment to your health, safety, comfort or physical condition.

I strongly advise you take expert advice prior to commencing any exercise program if you are in any doubt about your ability to engage in active or passive exercise.


Papayaya Fitness will close for 7 weeks in a year and no classes or sessions will be held during that time. The closing times will be announced in advance.

The monthly membership price is calculated for 45 out of 52 weeks in a year and therefore no refunds for closure times will be available.


In case of high demand additional classes and training time slots will be opened.

If the trainer becomes unavailable for a longer period of time due to injury or personal health, a refund might be given at the sole discretion of Iwona Schopflin.
